Eskom in Gauteng will conduct planned maintenance on the distribution electricity network in Sebokeng on Sunday, 6 September 2026, from 08:00 to 16:00. Affected areas will include Sebokeng Zone 10 Ext 1 and Ext 2, Zones 13, 14, 16, 17, 18, 20, 21 and 24, Polokong, Golden Gardens, Hostel and  both hospitals. Eskom conducts planned maintenance across the province as part of its maintenance programme. This essential work is carried out to service and maintain electricity infrastructure, ensuring the safety, reliability and efficiency of the electricity supply. Customers in the affected areas are urged to make the necessary arrangements for the duration of the interruption.
