Motivated Dugong: [CRIME INTELLIGENCE-DRIVEN OPERATION LEADS TO ARREST AND RECOVERY OF TWO FIREARMS IN SEBOKENG] A Crime Intelligence-driven operation conducted by members of the #SAPS Sedibeng Tactical Response Team (TRT) has led to the arrest of a 44-year-old man and the recovery of two 9mm firearms and ammunition in Sebokeng. The operation was conducted on Monday, 10 August 2026, at approximately 06:30. During a search of the premises, police recovered a modified Beretta 9mm pistol, a Glock 9mm pistol, 13 live rounds of ammunition and one blank round. The suspect was arrested and is expected to appear before the Magistrate’s Court on charges relating to the possession of unlicensed firearms and ammunition.
