Motivated Dugong: ATTEMPTED ABDUCTION ALERT – XHOSA STREET, TSAKANE A woman has shared a traumatic experience after she says she was targeted by two men in Xhosa Street, Tsakane, this afternoon. According to the woman, the incident happened approximately 30 minutes ago, she shared the account. She says she was walking along the Xhosa street when she encountered two men, with one walking in front of her and another behind her. She alleges that the man in front of her attempted to use a common “drop-money” scam, apparently pretending to have dropped money. The woman says she recognised the alleged scam and confronted the man, telling him that she knew what they were trying to do. She says she was unaware that there other two men were allegedly working with another person or group using a white Ford Fiesta. According to her account, the suspects then attempted to pull her into the vehicle. The woman says she screamed for help, prompting members of the Xhosa Street community to come outside and intervene for her aid to help . She alleges that the suspects released her and drove away in the direction of the chemist on Xhosa Street. She says she could not identify or remember the vehicle’s registration number because she was scared. The woman has decided to share her experience to warn other residents about the alleged tactic and urge people to remain vigilant, particularly when approached by strangers using distraction techniques such as the “drop-money” scam.

MISSING PERSON ALERT A Family of a 22-year-old young woman named Nompumelelo Msongelwa, who lives in Tsakane Ext 10 are looking for her She went missing on Saturday, 22 August 2026. According to her Aunt's information -The last people who saw her said that she was at a drinking establishment. After that, she was not seen again and has remained missing until today. Her aunt, Nokuguqa, says the last time she saw her was on the morning of 22 August.
