*WATER OUTAGE AFFECTING NEWLANDS/ ASHLEA GARDENS AREA* 15H00 Good afternoon Residents Firstly thank you to Cllr Peter Millar and Cllr Lida Erasmus for filling in for me while I've been on sick leave. 💦💦💦💦 Then the water outage 😳 The whole of the east is without water.. There was apparently a burst infeed pipe to Garsfontein resevoir which feeds all the smaller reservoirs which we get water from. Instead of warning Residents yesterday, CoT kept quiet, and now the other reservoirs have run dry. It took Cllr Basson driving to Garsfontein reservoir to try and find out why there is no water.
