#JMPD TRU officers were conducting patrols along 17th Avenue in Alexandra when they spotted several males allegedly exchanging substances. As officers approached, one of the males fled the scene. A search was conducted on the remaining suspect, resulting in the recovery of 10x zip-lock bags containing illegal substances suspected to be kat drugs. Officers proceeded to the suspect’s room where a further 40x zip-lock bags containing substances suspected to be kat & an undisclosed amount of cash were recovered from the kitchen counter. The suspect was arrested & detained at Alexandra SAPS for dealing in drugs.
