Good morning, this message is specifically for the Clavadel River Lodge and Heron Banks estate. If you have CATS please take the time to read it. There is a BLACK CAT WITH WHITE ON THE BACK LEGS roaming about. If this sounds like your cat please keep them indoors if you can, as they're starting fights😩 There have been a number of cats roaming around the Clavadel estate which are being trapped and sent off to shelters, if this cat is caught it will be sent to the SPCA to look for microchipping(or signs of ownership) and to be claimed if you have lost them🙏 Please if you have cats and you're letting them wander, at the very least make sure they're sterilised and vaccinated 🥲 not only can they contract a number of diseases (both short term and chronic) roaming around, they often fight with other cats and can get injured. The grey strays in Clavadel all have snuffles (feline herpes virus) which is a chronic illness that is highly contagious. It is not deadly (usually, unless they're kittens) but cannot be cured and only managed. But it is in your best interest to ensure your cats are not interacting with stray cats and bringing back parasites and diseases. Thank you for your time🙏🌻
