Hilarious Tinkerbird: *Power status in Secunda (Albany Substation)* Eskom’s both transformers 1 and 2 blue phase VTs blown up. Truck has loaded VTs from Middelburg RDC to Secunda which will be installed today. ETR(Estimated Time of Restoration) is mid-night tonight as per Eskom team if all goes according to plan. Eskom does not foresee and other challenges and strongly believe that electricity will be switched on from their side by midnight. Consumers are however advised to treat all electrical appliances and network as live as power may be restored earlier. We apologise for the inconvenience caused so far.
