A burst water main is affecting high-lying areas of Khayelitsha, including Ilitha Park, Harare, Monwabisi Park, Ndlovini, Kuyasa, Nkanini and Zwezwe. The City says the faulty valve has been removed and is ready for replacement; most areas have reduced pressure, and tankers are assisting people without water. The ETA is Tuesday, 20 October 2026 at 14:00.
