🚨 COMMUNITY CONCERN – 50 MATROOSBERG STREET, GREENFIELDS, BLACKHEATH Yesterday, while I was at the doctor with my mom, the residents from this property came outside and started arguing, screaming and swearing loudly in the street. The behaviour was completely inappropriate and extremely disruptive. There were children, elderly people and other patients at the doctor’s practice who had to sit and listen to this behaviour while inside the waiting room. People should not have to experience this when they are simply visiting a doctor. Quite frankly, it was disgusting and unacceptable. What made the situation even more disappointing was that most of the people involved were women. Seeing women behaving this way, screaming, swearing and causing such a disturbance outside a doctor’s practice, with children and elderly people present, was extremely disturbing and inappropriate. There were also a lot of drunk people going in and out of the yard carrying alcohol, with people constantly coming and going. This raises serious concerns that the property may be operating as an illegal shebeen and potentially involving other illegal activity. I have already reported this property. If other residents have experienced similar problems, please report it too so that the relevant authorities can investigate this property properly. 👉 Report it to the City of Cape Town here: "City of Cape Town – Service Requests" (https://reference-url-citation.invalid/0) If you have experienced the same behaviour, please consider logging your own report and include the property address: 50 Matroosberg Street, Greenfields, Blackheath. This type of behaviour should not be normalised in a residential area, especially next to a doctor’s practice where children, elderly people and sick patients are present.
