[BLOEMFONTEIN FLYING SQUAD ARRESTS SUSPECT WITH CRYSTAL METH AT CBD TAXI RANK] Members of the Bloemfontein Flying Squad have arrested a male suspect and confiscated crystal methamphetamine during an operation in the Bloemfontein CBD. The members were acting on information received on Wednesday, 9 September 2026, regarding a male person who was allegedly in possession of drugs at the taxi rank in the CBD. The members responded to the information and spotted a male person matching the description. They approached and searched him. During the search, the members discovered a plastic bag containing seven smaller plastic bags filled with a substance suspected to be methamphetamine, commonly known as Crystal Meth or Tik. The suspect was immediately arrested. A case docket has been opened for further investigation. The 29-year-old suspect is expected to appear in court soon on a charge relating to the possession of drugs. #fightingcrime #DrugsOffTheStreets
